UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI - KANSAS CITY
Sydney Winders MT-BC is a board-certified music therapist and graduate student at the University of Missouri Kansas City. Sydney received her undergraduate degree at Drury University. Syd is passionate about providing quality, inclusive, and client center learning experiences for students in the midwestern region.

NAOMI DAVIS, LPMT, MT-BC
PRESIDENT-ELECT
UNIVERSITY OF IOWA
Naomi will be a first year master’s student in the fall 2022. After completing her undergraduate degree at CSU, she spent a year and a half working at a private practice in Maryland. She had the pleasure of primarily serving school-aged children both in and out of the public school setting. Outside of music, she loves to read, bike, and play the Sims 4.

GRACE TROESSER
VICE PRESIDENT
UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI - KANSAS CITY
Grace is currently a music therapist at Research Psychiatric Center and KU Health Systems. Grace completed her coursework at UMKC. Grace is passionate about making creative arts therapies easily accessible to under-served areas. She is wanting to start a business that employs art, music, dance, and drama therapist(s) to allow easier collaboration between specialties. She is super excited to be serving as this year's Vice President and cannot wait to start making even more connections with other students in the Midwest Region and beyond. In her free time, she likes to catch up on her medical dramas (Grey's Anatomy and The Good Doctor), attend local festivals, and hammock with friends.

LYDIA MEIKLE
SECRETARY
UNIVERSITY OF IOWA
Lydia is a proud Iowa City resident currently studying at the University of Iowa. She lived in Michigan, Ohio, and Illinois before making her way here. Lydia is currently aiming to graduate with a Bachelor's in Music for Music Therapy, at the completion of her internship at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital. Her main instrument is the cello, one of her favorite things to do is to practice performing by playing outdoors. In Lydia’s spare time she loves reading comics and playing video games - She is a proud patron of the local Iowa City Comics store, "Daydreams Comics." She is looking forward to getting to know everyone!

CAROLINE VICKSTROM

COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY
Born and raised in Colorado, Caroline Vickstrom earned bachelor’s degrees in Vocal Performance and Choral Music Education from the University of Colorado Boulder. She had taught both middle and high school choirs, directed theatre camps, and even taught English in France for a year. Now, she’s pursuing a master’s in Music Therapy from Colorado State University and loving it! In her free time, she loves hiking, snowboarding, and watching movies.

SAMI MORRISON

COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY
Sami is a masters equivalency student at Colorado State University, currently completing her internship at Resonate Music Therapy in Colorado Springs! She also has a bachelor’s in vocal performance and has loved singing and making music her whole life. This past year she served as the President of MWRAMTAS and Parliamentarian for AMTAS. She so excited to continue serving this board as Parliamentarian for the coming year! She loves being involved with this region and hopes to encourage others to get involved and make valued connections with likeminded people. Outside of music therapy she enjoys keeping active (yoga, boxing, dance, hiking, weights!), playing guitar and singing for fun, and snuggling with her two sweet kitties.
